We work tirelessly to bring you the finest coffees in the world, from our trips to origin countries to the hours spent at the sample roaster and in the cupping lab. We also strive to find the best organic and sustainable coffees, so we're proud to introduce our latest effort, the Sierra Verde Project. This project showcases coffees grown organically and under the Rainforest Alliance's exacting standards to bring you coffees that are always seasonally fresh and of the highest caliber.
The Rainforest Alliance is a non-profit organization that certifies progressive farms that adhere to stringent environmental, labor and living standards. Organic certification ensures that the crop is grown without the use of chemical fertilizers, pesticides, herbicides or fungicides a process that is not only better for you, but for the earth as well.
We are also working with Trees for the Future to plant two trees in a developing coffee-producing country for every pound of coffee sold through the Sierra Verde Project. To date, we have planted more than 800,000 trees.
